Empowering communities

TDP provides accessible, hands-on educational programs where children live, learn, and play.

why it matters

85%

of our services support neighborhoods with the greatest financial and educational needs.

80%

of future careers will require STEM skills, yet 70% of students in underserved communities lack access to high-quality, hands-on STEM learning at school.

75%

of girls had never considered a technology or engineering-related career, viewing those fields as "boring or too hard".

our programs

Super STEM Explorers

Super STEM Explorers is an outreach program that delivers fun, hands-on workshops that enhance youth programs.

Ideal for K-12 after school programs and camps, libraries, homeschool groups, schools, and more, our STEM Workshops:

  • Build awareness of STEM’s role in everyday life.
  • Spark enthusiasm for STEM subjects and careers.
  • Build confidence in science and math concepts that can strengthen academic outcomes.

Girls Represent! in STEM

Girls Rep! in STEM expands girls’ awareness of and access to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Through hands-on experiences connected to real-world applications, the program builds curiosity and confidence while helping girls discover that they belong in STEM.

The Game Changers!

Game Changers is a teen enrichment program that equips young people to drive positive changes in their industries and communities.

Through learning labs and internships, teens build skills in college preparation, career readiness, entrepreneurship, life management, and professional communication.

Fathers Stepping Up!

Fathers Stepping Up! is a fatherhood initiative that strengthens father involvement and restores men’s positive influence in their children’s lives. Through evidence-based workshops, we help fathers, expectant fathers, and father figures build the attitudes, knowledge, and skills needed for engaged parenting.

Fatherhood Workshops:

  • Reinforce the vital role of fathers in the family.
  • Build confidence and determination to navigate the challenges of fatherhood.
  • Create a supportive community among fathers and father figures.
  • Help mothers effectively coparent and support fathers’ access to their children.

Train-the-Trainer

Train-the-Trainer

Our train-the-trainer programs provides educators with practical strategies and affordable tools to transform everyday classroom moments into meaningful STEM learning while building communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.
